T
his is the QTH of mine, located in a flat farming area, in the very south of Sweden, 20 kms south east of Malmoe. Please note the 800 kV DC power lines in the background (no noise produced from them!). The antennas are 4x9el M2 (12 meters boom length) with the highest antenna pair at 23 meters hight above the ground. The smaller antenna, located on the house, is a single 9 el M2 at 10 meters.

The pictures are taken from the top of the neighbours roof with a telescopic lens.

A closer look.

However, somebody said: If your antenna is staying up - it is not big enough! So in December 1999 it all came down during a +50 m/s hurricane. These were the remains:

Sob!

Thereafter I used a single 11 element yagi antenna (from M2) which has a 15 meters long boom and was mounted 22 metres above the ground level.

After lots of sweating the antenna today looks like this (4x9 el 2 WL M2 yagis again). The upper antenna pair is at 23 mtrs AGL:

QSL policy:

ALL QSL's received are being answered. (Except when it is noted that a station sends a QSL for each and every QSO.) Different transmission modes and propagation modes are, however, honored with a card. Cards received via the bureau will go out the same way. Normally I send my cards to SSA (the QSL bureau) once a year.
QSL's received by postal mail will be answered the same way, BUT only if;
1. A self addressed envelope is included.
2. Sufficient return postage is included. (1 valid IRC or 2 USD or 2 EUR or a 12 SEK Swedish stamp)  If not, I will reply via the bureau as described above. Direct QSL's will normally be answered within a few days. If you have not received a direct answer within 3 weeks please send me an e-mail and I'll find out what went wrong.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>THE QSL IS THE FINAL CURTESY OF A QSO!<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
